Hallo,

ich selber bin portugiese allerdings bin ich mir bei folgender Formulierung etwas unsicher und wollte mal euer Feedback dazu hören.

Es geht um ein Satz, welches ich mir als Tatoo stechen lassen will.

Der Satz soll heissen: " Deus me protega"

Jetzt zu der Unsicherheit:
Es soll bedeuten: Gott beschütze mich (in jeder Lebenslage)
Gemeint ist es eher als "Gott möge mich beschützen" und nicht "Gott beschützt mich", also eher in Konjungtiv bzw. Futur als im Präsens.

(ich bin mir da ein bisschen unsicher, wegen der Gramatik)

Ja, wäre es eigentlich.
(Bei einem Tattoo würde ich das "que" trotzdem weg lassen, aber das war ja nicht die Frage)

Ich als Atheist wäre mir da eher unsicher, ob die Aussage stimmt.

Aber rein sprachlich liegst du auch etwas falsch: es heißt nämlich "proteja" mit jota wie Jota. Der Rest stimmt aber. Gibt da auch einen Song von Chico César mit deinem Tattoo als Titel.

Aha. Wenn der Tätowierer es mit dem Presente do Conjuntivo von proteger nicht ganz so genau nimmt also auch protejota

An East Side Ink employee confirmed to the Daily News that RiRi had indeed gotten the temporary to see how it looked before actually getting a real tat.The singer reportedly liked how the phrase looked and returned to the parlor to get the real thing Tuesday night. But although the ink, which translates to "rebel flower," fits in well with Rihanna's existing tats, there also has been a fair amount of

as to whether or not the tattoo is grammatically correct.There are merits to both sides of the argument. "Rebel flower" does translate to "rebelle fleur" if it's simply read as is. In the context of a sentence, however, it'd translate to "fleur rebelle." The artist who inked the pop star could not be reached for comment as to what Rihanna exactly asked for.The scrawl joins about 13 existing tattoos on the pop star, including a cascade of stars down her back and Roman numerals down her shoulder. Most intricate is the phrase "never a failure, always a lesson," which Rihanna told Ellen DeGeneres is tattooed backward on her chest so she could read it in the mirror. "Gott möge mich beschützen"

Also ich würde da eher schreiben " Deus me protege" als Konjunktiv ( Gott möge mich beschützen), aber ob das nun stimmt müsste echt mal ein Portugiese hier klären ( Garota, Kosmus ..... )?

Deus me proteja ist ja eher nicht der Konjunktiv, sondern eher "Gott beschützt mich".

Yep, wenn der Typ könnte an conjuntivite leidet, könnte das passieren.


Da liegst du falsch, Ellen. Es heißt ja auch "Deus me livre" und nicht "Deus me livra".
